The Painting
€ 350.00
‘Boucherouite’ in Dareeja (Moroccan Arabic) means a piece of used cloth, clothing. Carpets known as ‘boucherouite’ are hand-woven using the traditional knot method from various types of previously used textiles, wool, cotton, artificial fibers, lurex or nylon. In modern jargon ‘boucherouite’ would be termed as ‘upcycled’.
The Painting too, is a boucherouite. It engages our attention with its unique design, thanks to which it looks like an abstract painting. And in Morocco they really decorate their walls with carpets – how about you try it too? ♥
