Traditionally, in Morocco, straw baskets are used to keep pastries from drying out but our smaller baskets are perhaps more suited for decoration. You can really fit just about anything into this beaut however, there are no limits to your imagination! We should also mention that, unlike most of our Berber baskets, this one is not decorated with wool. The pattern it sports was created using dyed straw.
